Inland Revenue targeting tradespeople

The Inland Revenue have recently launched a campaign to target tradespeople who are not declaring their full income for tax purposes.    

In order to prevent penalties and prosecution, if you're in business, you need to maintain accurate records, ensure that you are charging and declaring GST (if GST registered), register all employees and declare all of your income when filing your tax return.
